w/o2/17

Slow start to this year's program.  Really want to get my head wrapped around this but am not finding the excitement like I had last year.  And I really dislike this Vitabot program.  Finding it hard to navigate and get info.  Someone needs to go thru all the searches and look for duplicate entries.  I tried searching for protein powder and there must be at least 1000 entries - and a lot of them are exactly the same.  VERY VERY AGGRAVATING.  So, to make it quicker for me, I had to enter my own "custom" item.  And, in order to use the phone app, it seems I have to request it every time I go on the program.  Using "my Fitness Pal" last year was so much better.  And last year I was able to do almost all my entries from my phone so I could do it right when I was having a meal.  Maybe I am doing something wrong here, but I probably will only get the required 10 entries in for Vitabot; otherwise I'm sticking to the other app for my own purposes.

w/o2-9-14

Not a very good week for me.  Sick with the flu/cold - came out of nowhere.  Because of that my appetite has not been normal...don't feel like eating much except fruit, tea water, water, water.  I am so dried up from cold meds.  On a good note though, I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Aladdin's.  I actually found that I LOVE their Baba - great with cukes and red peppers.   So I am plugging along trying to get some continuity with diet/exercise.  Next weigh in will definitely be interesting!!
This Vitabot thing is another subject.  If I take a multivitamin everyday, then why should I care if the vitamins and minerals that are included in the dose I take come up as an "F" on my mealplan?  I'm more concerned about the top part of the nutrition labels than I am about all that other stuff; I will fail most of the time on those items.  Oh well - goes with the program I guess.  I'll stick with what I know from using My Fitness Pal from last year.  That program was much easier to use and gave me all the info I needed to know.  For me, Vitabot is overkill.
I can't wait for winter to end - I'm tired of being stuck inside all the time - NEED FRESH AIR!!!

week 2

Got to get back on the work out train!!  Finding it hard to get on a workout schedule again after missing @ 6 weeks after Jessica stopped doing her weekday bootcamps at Lean Living.  I am much better at going to workouts somewhere than trying to do it on my own - ( you know there a a thousand reasons why I can't find time at home :>:>none of them have any validity).  However, the good news is that I have someone lined up to help me "train" so hopefully this person will be the motivator I need now.  Also got the Vitabot going.  Not sure that I like this program yet since I used MyFitnessPal previously.  I know Vitabot has a lot more info to share but the ease of getting started is very time-consuming.  Will go with it though since it's required this time.  Forge ahead!!
